Hi @AW_9624506,

Please use the license file with .dat extension

Check whether the host ID mentioned in the license file matches with your system host ID and it is listed by PTC installer. If yes it may resolve the issue.

If not please follow below procedure

  • Check the host id within the license file matches system specific network card (physical network card WiFi or LAN) If yes change the priority of the network card

To prioritize the network card use following steps

  • Before making any changes to regedit take a backup
  • WARNING: Edit the Registry at your own risk. PTC will not be responsible for damage done to a computer by incorrectly editing the registry. Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may necessitate a re-installation of the operating system.
  • Set priority 1 for the network card based on which Creo Parametric license is generated.
To change the priority, rename the appropriate directory for network card as 1 in  Windows registry under     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows NT > Current Version > Network Cards.

If the host id in the license file does not matches the physical address of the system please generate a new license file onto which the workstation is active on (physical mac address of the system)

Thanks,

Vipul
