Mapping of Creo Parameters to Windchill

I have the role of the projekt manager in our windchill academic projekt (Formula Student).

My Question is now: Can I link the creo parameters to the windchill parameters, because it is helpfull for searching.

Robert, Hugo is right. The attributes need to be created in Windchill and then they are applied to ALL cad.docs on the server. PTC has not enabled this capability on the Windchill server becuase we have hundreds of teams in 5 different programs using the server. At this point, only PTC can add the attributes.

For now, I would suggest making good use of PTC_COMMON_NAME before checking in new CAD files. You can add this to your Creo model tree by typing it in under Model Params. Changing this value after an item has been checked in will not help. The value needs to be set before or at Check In.

If you did not set a value for PTC_COMMON_NAME, you will have to use the Rename feature to change it in Windchill.

You also, have to create the parameters on the Windchill side; this in normally done by the Windchill Admin.
