PTC Installation Assistant doesn't work

So. I've downloaded Mathcad trial version, but when I try to open (Both with and iwthout Admin rights) the downloaded setup file it "Stoppes working" after completing that small window. That's pretty much it. No installer interface is ever opened.

Win 7 x64

Intel Core Quad 2 Q9300

4GB RAM

Hi,

did you download installer zip file from https://support.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academicFree.jsp page?

Did you unzip it into new emapty directory ?

Nope. I got it from here https://www.ptc.com/ru/products/mathcad-express-free-download

It's not zip file, it's .exe file

My suggestion ...

If you are student, try my download source.

Almost the same thing. Opened it; waited for a second; got "PTC Installation Assistant has stopped working"

Opening inside the Zip archive gives the same result.

Hi,

it looks like the problem is hidden in operating system. I do not believe that you want to reinstall it ...

Maybe you can open Event Viewer and look for error message related to Mathcad installation.
