Trouble starting trial creo, after upgrading it to Creo 7.0 2.0.

Using the 30 day free offer trial from PTC, and after a couple weeks of using it, an upgrade to creo 7.0 2.0 was performed. Since the upgrade, I am having trouble launching the software.

I uninstalled and reinstalled as instructed.

Error Code is: 0x06000012.

Hi @TS_9727852,

 

it looks like the installer files must have got deleted and hence the error message pops-up.

 

Try this possible solution:-

 

  • Uninstall Creo Parametric trial version from the system. 
    • To uninstall launch Control Panel > Programs and features > Select PTC Creo Player > Right click and uninstall. 
  • Reinstall the software using Admin privileges
