ptc Port Conflict

ptc Port Conflict

I have installed Creo 3.0 Student edition recently it worked fine. After one some time when i try to open creo i get error saying-

"Port-conflict" "The previous restart failed. The port 51244 is also occupied. Restart Creo Parametric and all other opened PTC Applications again. We apologize for any inconvenience"

With every restart, the Port number counts up. So now I'm at Port 51256.

I can't contact any support, because i only have the Student Edition.

I use Win 10 64-Bit-Version on a HP Pav Notebook.

Does anybody know what could solve the Problem?

Greetings

Rhishi.

Hi,

unzip downloaded file and run the program. You will list of processes and TCP ports they use. Find your port number and recognize process using it.

Hi,

maybe https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS169942 contains useful information, too.

Resolution-

(1)Reinstall- I already did that but the result was same

(2)nmsd.exe-I have the nmsd file in installation folder.

(3)Delete cache- Already did that.

(4)New Profile-It did not work.

I did that but the listing of ports the application showing isn't the one Creo shows me when I try to open the application. So what I did is ok & started working On Creo.It won't affect my license right?Or I am not doing it right??
