Last October we launched a new podcast, The Third Angle to give our customers a voice when we go behind the scenes at their locations. We produce our episodes in a bi-weekly cadence and feature customers across all PTC product lines.
This award winning podcast is designed to be immersive and transport listeners on a journey from conception to completion of some of the most inspiring products being developed today. The podcast literally ‘travels the world’, to spotlight engineering genius that has produced flying cars, high-tech football helmets, light sabres for everyday jedis, homes of the future and so much more. The guest’s passion and pride as they explain the makings of their brainchild really hold the listener’s attention.
We kicked off the series with Creo customer Arc, featuring Mark Truman, the man behind the world’s most advanced, fully electric motorcycle, appreciated and owned by many, including celebrity Ryan Reynolds. Completing the year with Onshape customer Roam, one of the finalists in Prince William’s Earthshot Prize 2022. Roam provides affordable electric transport systems in Africa to address the unique needs of the Kenyan market – whilst building a local workforce, which, encouragingly, is 39% female
Paul Haimes is the fantastic host of The Third Angle. His knowledge, pleasant voice and ease behind the microphone have proven him the ideal moderator for our show. At the conclusion of the customer segment, the PTC product executive chats with Paul to explain how PTC technology is used in the particular customer scenario.
With 170k downloads to date, The Third Angle has also been recommended three times as a top business podcast listen by Apple and was ranked second in the US Apple business podcast chart. Third Angle is available on Apple, Google, Spotify, Amazon and ptc.com.
