On my mobile phone currently there is no letter sybmol to access the private messages (https://community.ptc.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage).
I assume, this is a general limitation on mobile devices.
Could you please change this behaviour, so that I can easily access my private messages on mobile devices too?

Look in the settings for displaying the site as "PC version" (this works in Firefox mobile version).

You did not specify which web browser you used.
I'm using Chrome (version 77).
The mobile phone is a Samsung Galaxy A7 (SM-A750FN/DS) with Android 9.
