1. What product and version are you running?
CREO and Windchill.
2. What is the problem?
If you Google "Solidworks dominating universities", the first result says, "Solidworks Education reaches the 2 million licenses.." from a 2015 blog. That number probably have increase by now.
let's review a few paragraphs from the blog to see what the problems are....
"....Simply put, SOLIDWORKS has changed how students and educators think about design".
"For 20 years, SOLIDWORKS has created a generation of engineers that design new and innovative products. SOLIDWORKS is nurturing the skills and creativity of the next generation of designers and engineers by providing our tools to students."
My problem is the long-term side effect where their mindset is so nurture and brainwash by Solidworks that they’re in a denial state to except CREO as a much more powerful tool.
If you assign these people to a mandated project where they’re only allow to use CREO for the project to produce clean data, they’re do everything in their power to manipulate the mandate by producing dumb down look alike CREO data from Solidworks.
I wish PTC sales/marketing team would invest more in the educational sector.

How to convert a Solidworks env. to a CREO env.
