In today’s global business environment, change is the norm. Effective Organizational Change Management (OCM) can result in driving benefit realization, ensure Return on Investment (ROI), and enable results and outcomes through employee adoption and usage of change. A systematic approach to OCM is beneficial when change requires people throughout an organization to learn new behaviors and skills. By formally setting expectations, employing tools to improve communication and proactively seeking ways to reduce misinformation, stakeholders are more likely to buy into a change initially and remain committed to the change throughout any discomfort or resistance associated with it. This presentation will examine the strategy, execution and lessons learned and experienced at Raytheon during the largest PTC Windchill deployment ever. The presenters will share the steps taken to develop and implement a robust change management plan that addresses changing a culture with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement, communications and training strategies. This case study will also demonstrate the critical role PTC products and support provided in the successful tool deployment.
