ECAD design data management is the ‘new frontier'. While this has been the ‘norm’ on the mechanical side for years, it is only now coming onto the radar for ECAD. By adding the challenges associated with team design and hierarchical design data management the process can become very complex very quickly. Understanding how to best integrate multiple people working together on multiple blocks while tracking revisions and integrations of each is key to successfully meeting the overall goals associated with a ‘single source of truth’ for all of the product design data. The presenters will demonstrate how to enable multi-user block-level management for hierarchical design using Cadence Team Design option with PTC Windchill.
