The presenter shares the story of how they came to use PTC Creo and PTC Windchill to manage their product line, how they moved all their departments from SolidWorks and AutoCAD (about 50 seats) and what benefits it gives their business such as reduced response time to customer, fast mass changes through all product lines. The presenter will then share the technical aspects of how they implemented configurable product "templates" (advances logic inside, parameterization, analyses etc.), how they are getting automatically design documentation for new instances, linked O&V and PTC Windchill PartsLink to get automatically classified products. The presenter will also discuss how they are organizing collaboration between US, RU and CH engineering teams and plants to work for product lines using common design methodology.
