As a PTC Platinum Partner, we provide the full suite of PTC solutions: Creo (CAD/CAM/CAE) Windchill (PLM) ThingWorx (Industrial IoT) and Vuforia (Augmented Reality) and we are looking for an Application Engineer to join our PTC team in our Sydney office.
The Role
Application Engineers are responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support to new and existing customers across ANZ. This will include:
- Working with the sales team to understand customer requirements, present live software demonstrations and conduct workshops/webinars to support sales & marketing activities.
- Performing software implementation services including installation & configuration.
- Delivering standard and custom training classes.
- Providing on-site and remote technical support for customers.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Qualifications
- A degree in either aeronautical, mechanical, mechatronics or manufacturing engineering will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be a self-starter, with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of MS Windows computer systems and networks.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Creo Parametric is essential.
- Experience with Windchill or other PDM/PLM products is essential.
- A demonstrated exposure to providing software sales and/or training.
