This session will address various considerations for bulk migration versus co-existence strategies. The migration strategy you select for your company will have a dramatic impact on the cost, duration, and complexity and ultimately the success or failure of your migration project. Bulk migrations tend to be less technically challenging but may ultimately have a higher risk of failure putting your critical data as risk. Co-existence strategies tend to reduce risk but require more planning and a higher technical effort which can have a negative impact on budgets and timelines. Both strategies can be very successful with careful planning, and realistic expectations. Budgeting both time and funding for migration projects including services, licensing and infrastructure costs will also be discussed. Bring your tough questions.
