Weatherford has been growing its PTC Windchill installation since 2002, this mature and successful global deployment provides significant value. Over the years the implementation has brought many benefits to the Enterprise as a whole, not just in Engineering. Generally the advantages come as a result of good process and data management, this presentation will focus on a handful of the most significant impacts. Each example will include feedback from business segment representatives and clearly show the benefits that PTC Windchill has brought to their area. Examples include; successfully passing stringent audits, proving conformance to design standards, being able to consistently build the same product from any manufacturing location, supporting our compliance department with consistent high quality data, having rock solid design control and change management in a global design environment.
