How to define inlet and outlet for a pipe fluid domain inside another fluid domain?

Hello everyone,

I am working with Creo Flow Analysis on a model of a beaker filled with water (fluid domain). To close the volume, I created a capping surface at the fluid level.

Now, I want to add a pipe as a second fluid domain that penetrates this capping surface and goes into the beaker. My idea is to define the upper circular face of the pipe as an inlet and define the lower circular face of the pipe (inside the water) as an outlet.

The problem: Because the pipe passes through the capping surface, I cannot select the lower circular face of the pipe as an outlet in the Assistant.

So my question is: What is the correct modeling approach in Creo Flow Analysis if I want to have a pipe fluid domain inside another fluid domain, with its upper face as inlet and its lower face as outlet?

Thanks a lot for any advice!
