Lovely work as always Peter!
Can't wait to see more of the sneak peek project.
Hi Tim,
Thanks for the kind words.
Looking to do the scaletrix4schools- is there any one i can contact at PTC now?
My IT techs are getting ready to have another go at getting Creo3 on the school network- is there someone with school specific specialist network skills they or I could talk too?
A page of design intent/first ideas for a staff based project to support use of Creo with KS4 groups.
This is what I've got done so far. Want to use it to simulate gravity and have the "gondolas" behave in a pulley mech sim.
The Ferris wheel model should behave just like the real thing. Make sure you apply the correct material properties to every part and enable a little friction on the pin joints to get the cars rocking realistically.
I don't think anyone at PTC is involved with Scalextric4Schools. When I left they removed all the curriculum and Creo models from their web site so I uploaded them to Hornby's challenge web page and a Facebook site I set up for the competition. Hornby were hoping to run a finals this year but, without any promotion of the challenge, there were only a few entries so it was cancelled. The contact at Hornby for Scalextric4Schools is Lydia Narraway - Lydia.Narraway@Hornby.com. I'm happy to help answer any questions and provide help if I can.
