PTC University Learning Exchange – FAQ: Why sign in

"Why do I have to sign up and log in to watch tutorials?"

PTC University Learning Exchange is a free service and we are putting a huge effort in expanding the site on an ongoing basis. By asking our users to log in, we learn more about how people are using the site – how often they come to visit, and what products and topics they are interested in. This intelligence allows us to better focus our site development on the users’ needs.

The other, more immediate benefit is that the users can see their account history once logged in. We have added this functionality in 2013, after many people had requested this. The account history shows the videos you have watched and those you have “liked”.

We have more functionality enhancements on our roadmap, so stay tuned and visit often!
