Hello!
On behalf of the PTC Academic Team, I’d like to apologize for the confusion over the past few months. We are in the process of re-organizing our Global Academic Program in hopes that all of our programs around the world can be synchronized, enabling even greater collaboration. The best way to find out more information about our Academic Program is through our newly designed website: www.ptc.com/go/academicprogram. Below, I’ve outlined some of the main changes to our program:
Software:
PTC still offers free software to schools and students. Now the process to receive free software has gotten even easier. All a student or school needs to do is fill out the registration form below:
http://www.ptc.com/communities/academic-program/products/free-software
After registering, they will be directed to another page with detailed instructions on installing and configuring Creo.
Scalextric 4 Schools:
We are excited to announce a new organizational strategy in our partnership with Hornby Railways. Hornby has agreed to take over the management and administration role for the S4S program. PTC will still provide free software, training, and support to competitors while Hornby provides kits, instructions, and competition information. For more information, you can visit the page below:

Training:
As always, PTC provides free curriculum and training materials to any students or teachers. Our latest curriculum and the flagship of our program, How to Model Almost Anything, is a standalone curriculum that covers every aspect of designing parts and products in Creo. How to Model Almost Anything, as well as all of our other curriculum, is available here:

Technical Support:
Free tech support is available for any issues you might have while using Creo. Our team of support engineers is available to answer install, licensing, and usage questions. You can submit a support request using the link below:

You can also connect with other users of PTC products through the PTC community:

We are also in the process of organizing a live webinar to answer any questions or concerns you might have. We’ll communicate more information once it becomes available. If you have other questions about the PTC Academic Program, please let me know. We thank you for your patience during this restructuring period and look forward to working with you going forward.
Regards,
Chris
