Pro/E WF4 (M091) "Manufacturing"

I have just downloaded and installed the latest release of the schools edition of Pro/ENGINEER. It now includes "manufacturing" (2.5D machining output to Fanuc format). Are there any tutorials, videos, help sheets etc available for this anywhere? Do i need to install the post processor to drive a denford "Novamill" or "Microrouter compact"? if so how?

Hi Dave, Sorry for the delay in responding. Here is a tutorial to help you understand how to use CAM Lite in the schools edition. http://www.ptc.com/appserver/wcms/standards/fileothumbredirect.jsp?&im_dbkey=99602&im_language=en This uses a FANUC post Processor. You cannot load your post, the only one that can be used is the FANUC. Now since this is a 2.5 axis milling operation, the output should be able to be read by your controller. You would have to check. If not, you would have to look at the Schools Advacned Edition that includes full MFG and you can use your post. Regards, Mark

Thanks Mark, Will have a look at these. Just a thought though, it might be good to put these (or a link) on windchill. Dave
