Same dimensions but much bigger in the assembly?

Hello! I want to finish my project at home, on my laptop (HP 255 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC), where I need a few seperate modeled components. I made some of them in my school and some at home. Now I am facing a problem where the dimentions should fit to the ones of the other component but in the assembly they are much bigger. Can anyone help?

Hi,

probably bigger models has length units set to inches and smaller one to millimeters.
