As a sort-of-offseason project of curiosity, I've decided to try modeling a robot shooter (for Ultimate Ascent) as accurately as I can. After finally figuring out how to use the Weld application, I'm now faced with a new dilemma: when I render my nice new shooter model, the weld shows up as bright orange! I've explored a bit and found a "Weld Materials" menu, but after some experimentation and a bit of searching, I haven't found out how to actually take any of the materials in there and make them my weld material (which may or may not be the problem, but to be honest all I've learned about Creo is primarily though experimentation, so the gaps in my knowledge are many and wide).
tl;dr: My welds are orange. How do I make them not orange when I render?
This shouldn't typically happen, but by right clicking the weld and selecting properties you can alter the color etc of the welds
