Can you recommend an available video that steps a team through using Creo Parametric with Windchill. We have multiple subteams (e.g. drives, acquisition, storage, shooter, ...). Each of these areas is working on CAD for their contribution to the team. They all have to integrate. Currently the only way we have figured out how to do this is to have the Drives team publish and assembly. Then have the Acquistion team use the Drives team assembly... and add their component... creating a combined drives and acquistion assembly. The Storage team pulls in the combined drives and acquisition assembly... adds the storage assembly... and publishes this new expanded assembly.... and so on until all of the team components have been added.
I am guessing this is not the normal or recommended processes. I am looking for what is the recommended process for multiple teams to work independently... but still be able to pull in the latest design updates from other teams to validate integration requirements.

In talking with others I have learned that subteams publishing assemblies and progressively using these assemblies to construct an entire robot is a valid approach. (Example: Drives subteam publishes a drives assembley, Acquistion sub team uses the drives assembly and publishes a combined Drives and Acquistion assembly, Storage sub team uses the Acquisition team assembly and publishes a combined drives, acquistion and storage assembly, and so on.
Yes, we are hosting one more Robotalk session this Wednesday @ 7:00pm EST specifically covering the use of Windchill with Creo Parametric. You can register for the session on the PTC Robotalk page or come back for the recording the next day. The recording will be posted to the Video section of the community and located with all the other robotalk_2013 videos.
There is some getting started information availbe with the Windchill Practical Guide for FIRST Robotics document if you would like to review ahead of time.
Hi, you can also use the Windchill Help Center for more information on getting started with Windchill and Creo Parametric. Check out the Windchill Help Center topic named "Getting to Work with Creo" on https://firstrobotics.ptc.com/Windchill for all the details.
