animation

Does anyone know of any tutorials that will demonstrate the animation process in proE?

Hi Dave, Are you using the Pro/ENGINEER schools Edition? When you say animation, do you mean Motion simulation or Animations? There is a difference and I wanted to make sure you are asking the right question. A motion simulation is the ability to investigate how components move and interact together based on how they have been assembled. You can apply forces, motors, etc. This is true physics. An animation is more freeform...potentially ignoring how things have been assembled. For example....an assembly process animation. If you are the schools edition, you are part of a secondary school and thus you have access to web-based training classes on mechnaisms (motion simulation). IF you want a tutorial on Animation....take a look at this one. It is an older tutorial, but should explain the process. http://www.ptc.com/carezone/tutorials/files/design_animation.pdf Hope that helps. Mark
