logoff of Windchill?

I hope I'm not missing the obvious but I can't find a logoff icon for Windchill. I'm running into the problem that when I exit out and someone else logs onto Windchill my page automatically comes up. I know this has something to do with the settings on this particular computer but there must be a 'log off' icon that would deal with this... Thanks!

Hi Rhonda, There is not a logoff button in Windchill. Once you exit the browser, you are logged off. Everytime you access the site, you should be prompted for a username and password. If thsi is not happening, the account is being cached. Can you clear your cache and see if that works? Thanks, Mark Fischer Director - PTC Education.

Regarding the browser cache, if you have any other browser session (with the same browser) open to any web site, your cache for Windchill is not cleared. So it will remember who you are and connect you immediately. You have to completely close all of the browser tabs and windows, to clear the session cache. Since Internet Explorer and FireFox do not share their caches, they are independent of one another.

Internet Explorer 8 has "New session" under the file menu that does the same thing as a completely different browser. But all tabs that are opened up in the same "session" will keep the cache alive.
