After I install creo 6.0 on my desktop, i get an error saying that "the version is shutting down because it could not run the quality agent", however both the installer and quality agent were downloaded

Hi,
try following:
uninstall PTC Quality agent
reboot PC
install PTC Quality agent using <INSTALL_PACKAGE>\install\addon\qualityagent_64.msi
