In my site all installations of PTC's products are located on a Network Drive.
It's always accessible to the designers (through a shortcut on their desktop) and guarantees that the products are always up-to-date in the site scope.
Starting PTC's products takes a bit longer, but it is not really substantial...
The only program that we cannot install on a Network Drive is MathCAD.
I would suggest to enable it!!
I think you have to ask PTC Support ...
I opened a call and was and answered that it can be done, but suggested to write it as a product idea. . .
