Subscript

Subscript

Prime 2 uses a drop down box to add subscripts.  I have found this awkard to use.  Many time the subscript needs to be added when the drop down is not available (i.e ribbon has to be scrolled). MathCAD v15 allowed the use of "." to add subsrcipts. Almost all of my variables have subscripts.  Adding this feature back int would be very helpful

Hi David,

You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+- (hyphen) to add subscripts. If you click over any operator, keyword, or button on the ribbon, you'll see the keyboard shortcuts.

There's also a link in Help for keyboard shortcuts for each language version of Mathcad Prime.

I like the new way because it lets one add subscripts anywhere in the varable name.

The dot for literal subscripts was faster to type. Mona is right, the shortcut exists.I also liked the " to start a textbox, again faster than Ctrl-T.
