I got MC 2000 today and I'm trying to graph a four column spread sheet. Column headings are x,y,z, and color. I've tried about 6 or 8 of the many combinations of making graphs. Sometimes I get a message that I can't use more than 4000 rows. Sometimes the limit is 100. Does anyone have a "keystroke and mouse click" guide to generating a 3D scatter with color range for the fourth dimension?
Is it better to load the data into Excel 97 and use the MathCad add-in or load it into MathCad using one of the many import, matrix or file options? I bought MathCad because Flying Fox, which I have been using, did not offer as many features. I now have an embarrassment of choices.
