What sort of scale did you have in mind? Do you want to model it with respect to a flat earth? (In which case, neglecting air resistance and electromagnetic effects and diminished gravitational acceleration with altitude, the path is parabolic.) Or do you want to model it with respect to a spherical earth (concentric center of mass), in which case, neglecting air resistance and electromagnetic effects, the path is elliptical. Or do you want to include other forces, such as an air resistance term, or diminshed gravity with altitude (inverse square law)?
