Display 3D Plots

Hi,

my Problem is to display 3D Plots. Disabling the boarders will show my plot until i scroll in the document.

I found another solution to reduce color depth to 16 Bit, but Catia dislike this changes not even Wn7 Aero runs on 16 Bit.

I noticed this problem on various machines running MC14 and MC15(trail). Prime1.0 does not support 3D plots

Did I mixed up a bug with a feature? What's the point anyway?

Is there a workaround for the 3D Problem?

Thx

Try the following steps:
1. Update drivers for video cards (up to the latest available version).
2. Turn off the "Aero" when working with Mathcad.

P.S. Oh I see, you have the latest driver 275.33 WHQL (2011.06.01).

Hello!

In what operating system you are running?

Win7 SP1x86, W2K8 SP2 x86, W2K8R2 SP1x64

But I'd prefer my Win7 machiene. (AMD X4, 4GB RAM, Nvidia GT240 (275.33WHQL) )

Tried to run it on my AAO110 Netbook with XP. Seems to be working, but with bad performance

Hi anyone!

Attached is a simple mcd file with an attempt to make a 3D plot. It does not show the 3D graph on my AMD 64-bit Windows 7 machines.

I tried to uncheck borders and modify compatibility. No luck.

Thanks for suggestions

Udo, hello!

In what version Mathcad you work?

Try to contact technical support PTC, creating a new "Case" here: https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/case/case_logger.jsp

P.S. Plots created in the document are as follows:

I've had similar problems displaying 3D plots, the thing that fixed it for me was reducing the Colours setting from "True Color" to "High Color".

I have set everything else back to the windows 7 default state & no compatibility moes now & the plots still seem to work fine.

Andy

Thanks, Andy!

Yes, the change in color setting fixed the problem for me, at least on the 64-bit W7 computer I am using presently.

Also, try to enable "Adjust for the best performance" in "Performance Options" (see attachment).
