I just started chapter 2 on my finite element analysis textbook.
I would like to start with using Prime/Mathcad for FEM computations.
Where do I go to begin this process?
Is there a tutorial you came across for FEM using prime?
Any relevant answers in addition to the questions welcome.
Some elements of FEM (sorry for tautology ) with Prime using you can find here Study 18. Differential Equations in Thermal Engineering
See please figs 18.10 & 18.11.
I hope it help you a little.
That was helpfull. I could relate to some of the examples I did in my textbook in chapter 2.
I did not know we had a entry field for FEM something like solver.
I will have to get to a tutorial on this in Prime/Mathcad, if there is one so far had not found.
The following topics will be useful for you:
For Mathcad Prime you can order worksheet library - "Mechanical Engineering" which includes "Finite Element Beginnings" section, here: PTC Webstore
