Fitting equation in a page

Hello,

I would like to know what operator to use, if i want to split long equations into 2 or 3 parts to fit it all into one page.

I know there is something, cuz I used it once.

Please help me.

Thanks

Ven

Control-enter, within a math region. That creates an addition operator that displays the left and right operands on different lines, one above the other.

The CTRL-ENTER works only with additions. The only way I found to arrange long equations is to create a program.

Mathcad's help section on programming is very helpful about this.

Yep. But since A-B can be written as A+-B it can be used for subtraction as well. And usually a large fomula will have additions/subtractions in it.

And the split addition does not have to be applied at the outermost level. If you have an expression like A*(B+C+D+E) you can split the B+C+D+E factor.
