Fourbar Linkage

I need suggestions on how I can solve the attached problem in MathCAD. This is the info I have and I need to use the equations given. Any suggestions- I am not that good yet in Mathcad or Maths!

Fourbar Linkage

Try typing it into mathcad first. Make sure the order of thge equations is correct (top to bottom for the numeric calc sequence) and that each equation is distinct (some linkages are doubled up in the pdf).

Post this first attempt at a single pass through the calcs.

This first attempt will allow others to comment and give you the [dubious] pleasure of learning from those easly mistakes;-)

No one will be typing the equations in for you.

It is much easier to correct them though.

Fourbar Linkage

It is also not exactly clear what you are trying to solve for.

Re: Fourbar Linkage

Did you ever get a solution to your problem concerning the windshield wipers?

If so I would be interested as I am trying to write a 4 bar linkage analysis within Mathcad.

Where as it appears that you are looking for the initial and final positions of the point initially known as P5.

I am looking for the solution to a design problem, given the initial and final end points of the Pivot, and the height limitation of the P4 as in your diagram, solve for the required link length or the required cyclic length.
