How do I delete a message?

Hi, I don't find the option "delete message" .  I wish to cancel my previous trial message.

Finally along with the edit option, they added right now, even the delete!

There's a menu in the top-left corner: three dots on top of each other.

See if there's a delete in there.

Success!

I have already checked, but there is no command in that regard.

I was going to show you the location of the menu with a screen-shot.

But it turns out that embedding screen shots and other pictures is not as straightforward is we were used to. One first has to upload a picture from a file ( no possibility to cut-and-paste via the clipboard  !). Then the moderator has to approve the picture, before anybody else can see it.

I'm afraid that is a step back.

Oh, and the menu for replies does not show a way to delete a reply. I'm afraid the original post cannot be deleted either.

No, this function was turned off for reasons unknown to me and so there is no way for a user to delete his posts. Thats silly and should be changed again IMHO. It would be a good idea to allow a user to edit AND delete his own posts as long as nobody has already answered to that specific post.

But don't  expect any modifications to be done in near future. At the time being you may use "Notify Moderator" to ask for the post being deleted.

OK, thanks Werner !
PTC is not making things smart, but users like you make the situation smarter ! 😉
