Which version of Mathcad Prime are you using?

Hi

I'm using Mathcad Prime 4.0

Thanks

These are as converted. I have done nothing to clean them up. The files with .xml extensions are the conversion logs. Unfortunately, files rarely convert perfectly, and that is the case for these files. There are some formatting problems, but more importantly all three worksheets used the gradient operator, which does not exist (like many other things) in Prime. So the worksheets do not actually work.

Thanks for taking the time to do this Richard, I appreciate that.

Do you know of an equivalent function for the gradient function in Prime 4.0?

Many thanks.

Calculate the derivatives for each variable independently:

Hi!

I have a .xmcd file that I need to convert to a .mcdx file. I'm having trouble installing MathCad 15 on my computer but I have a MathCad Prime 4.0. Enyone willing to help with the conversion?

Marco

Converted to 3.0, you should be able to read.

I need info from an XMCD file I made in 2013.  I ran the utility "PTC Mathcad Prime 4.0 XMCD, MCD Converter" but the conversion failed because version 15 was not installed.  I navigated to the PTC download page for Mathcad and found v15 not available.  How can I install v15 in order to make the file conversion?

If you can post the file (may have to zip it) someone here will convert.

(I have been unable to find a download link either)

Please find in attachment converted worksheets for Mathcad Prime 3.1 version.

Thanks Vladimir, I really appreciate that!

I would like to have MCDX format for two files. I am attaching the files with this. Please help me as soon as possible.

Hi there,

I also have a couple files that I would appreciate having someone convert to MCDX for me. Thanks so much.

Which version of Prime do you need?

If I convert (now) you'll get Prime 4.0; if you're running an older version you still won't be able to read it.

Better to get Mathcad 15 installed--it's free with Prime and required to convert.  And 15 can do things that Prime still can't

I need Prime 4.0. I would just download Mathcad 15, but I'd need to get IT involved and go through red tape, so this is easier and appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Fred,

Unfortunately it looks like you re-uploaded the XMCD instead of the MCDX...

Here it is.

Regards,

Don't forget to specify for which Mathcad Prime version the file is converted.

If you're in a hurry then you should develop the capability yourself.  Download Mathcad 15.  You can then import the files yourself using the translator program in Prime.

Those of us past version three (that means 3.1, 4, and 5) cannot translate a program into version 3, so you're looking for a fairly restricted member set.

Hi!

Could you please convert folowing to Mathcad Prime 3.0?
