More interesting!

I will send my solution tomorrow - with animation!

PS

I learned poetry by heart as a child:

Кремлёвские звёзды
Над нами горят,
Повсюду доходит их свет!
Хорошая Родина есть у ребят,
И лучше той Родины
Нет!

Re: How to plot the star ?

Many thanks, Luc. Basic, my question almost was answered. But I still have a small query : the your "Star5" seems not being a "perfect star(5)". Say, compare your "Star7" with following figure that I would wish:

Star7.PNGStar7'.PNG

Would it be edited ?

  Best Regards. Loi.

Re: How to plot the star ?

Play with the arguments to the PlotStar function.

The first defines the number of points. The second defines the size of the points, the third defines the size of the indents, the fourth turns the star.

Success!

Re: How to plot the star ?

I am not sure what you mean with "not perfect".

To duplicate the figure on the right of your picture you can try to replace the argument 1/3 by something larger like 0.6 or 0.7, probably 2/3 will do. The third argument is the distance of the inner points to the centre.

Re: How to plot the star ?

You may use either of the following three variants - depending on how exactly you'd like to define a "perfect star". You may also distinguish between odd or even number of vertices.

BTW, why not in 3D?
