could you please have a look and appreciate your input. I have attached mathcad sheet for your reference.

Hi,

Working on it.

Hi,

Have got the sheet working.

Hi Terry,

Really much appreciate your response.

I am trying to finalizing this Mathcad sheet with continuation of formulae. I have been setup the other matrix. Then, i got error notification like below.

I not sure what happening with this. When i tried to track error, this link to below snapshot.

I have attached my full set draft of mathcad sheet hopefully you can have a look and further advise.

Once again, appreciate you help.

Thanks.

Hi,

There is a lot of red.  This might take a while.

Hi,

Can you explain in words what you expect this programming routine does then I could be more help.

Hi Terry,

Thanks for your response.

The programming in based on my understanding is for allow me to lookup and interpolating of function / value of each parameter from the table section (as shown in below picture). So, as an example i can define l.10 value based on the interpolating value from the table below.

Hope short words will help to solve this.

Hi,

I think i have "ind.x" programming working.

Working on "int.x" programming.

Can you pdf the original tables from RP-F109 for me.  It would help to check my work.

Hi Terry,

This just come in my mind, Could you see whether with current mathcad sheet will be able to make output with table format?

Cheers,

Aries

Hi,

Output to a table can be done via the usual display of a matrix or via the Excel component found at Insert | Component | Microsoft Excel.

An example of the use of the Excel component is enclosed.

You set the output to zero and input to how ever many you need.

You set the Excel range for each input by right clicking on the component and selecting Properties.

Before use I have clipped the input variables to the correct size.

Hi Terry,

Once again thanks for your solution.

Do you have chance to find solution in the OBS mathcad sheet?

Cheers,

Aries

Hi,

Thanks for the extracts I can see what you are intending with the programs.

It is 4:00 am my time I need a little sleep having been up all night.

I am confident I can solve your problem when I wake up.

Terry

Hi Terry,

My apologize for that. I just realize we have different time zone.

Hi,

Have reworked the interpolation functions

Inty is an interpolate of one column of Data by a column vector Mcol at a data point yy is clipped by the program to the range of Mcol.

Intxy is an interpolate of one matrix of Data by a column vector Mcol for the column key and by a column vector Mrow for the row key.  y is the interpolate point down the column direction. x is the interpolate point across the row direction

These new functions need to be applied to the end of the worksheet.

Hi,

Appreciate your help. I've tried with your change apply to the interpolation but i couldn't find real value.

Also, when i want to see value of n.33 it's seem like unreal number.

If you can have one example of your method apply in this mathcad sheet with output value of l.stable up to W.stable that would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi,

OK will work on it.

Terry

Hi,

If you can have one example of your method apply in this mathcad sheet with output value of l.stable up to W.stable that would be helpful.

Done and enclosed in latest version of sheet.  Have not gone further with solution on clay as Su is zero in your input table.

Hi Terry,

Thanks you very much your help.

I will have a look, if something need clarification. I will let you know.

Hi Terry,

I have look into mathcad sheet which you send you and thank you very much for that.

I have tried to do the same for clay (related to interpolation) what you have done it in Sand section. But, it doesn't work. I need your help to have a look. In addition i have some of area with green highlighted which i need your help and advise.

Appreciate your help in this regard

Thanks,

Aries

Hi,

Got the worksheet will work on it today

Cheers

Hi,

Most of the green has gone.

Remaining green requires the document to understand what you are trying to do.

Still a lot of red, but it is getting there..

Cheers

Terry

Hi Terry,

Really appreciate your help to update my mathcad sheet.

Continue to the mathcad sheet which you need some document to support it.

I have attached extract of full mathcad to easy for you.

Basically, i need to get the value based on what user selected, whether user define or calculated.

So, please have a look my mathcad sheet and appreciate your input to the mathcad.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Aries

Hi,

Have replaced the green by providing solution to safety factor.

Would need section 3.6.5 to understand what the last remaining green means.

Cheers

Terry
