Hi, I created a continue-by-piece function f(x) (a triangle) on an interval [a, b]. I would like to obtain the max of this function on this interval. I try the "max" function but it doesn't work. I'm using Mathcad 14 Thanks
The max function finds the maxima of an array of numbers, not a function. You need the maximize function. That may not work well on a piecewise function unless you maximize each part separately. Richard
