PHYSICS PROBLEM

PHYSICS PROBLEM

Problem 7. A 82 g autographed baseball slides off of a 1.3m high table and strikes the floor a horizontal distance of 0.9 m away from the table. What was the direction of the ball's velocity just before it hit the floor?
That is, at what angle (in the range -90 degrees to +90 degrees relative to the horizontal directed away from the table) did the ball hit the floor. Given g = 9.81 m/s^2?
Now all I want to make sure of is if my answer: +70.906508 degrees is correct.

Aside from a bit too many digits, the answer is numerically correct. I'm not clear what your instructor meant by his definition of positive and negative angles, but it would seem like it should have been negative.
