Solving an Equation

MathCad is really good for lots of stuff, but no matter what I try, I can't get it to solve equations. I've gone through all the tutorials and examples, and I can't apply any of them to solving my equation.

It's near the end of the sheet and I need to solve for p. Thanks!!

Something like the attached?

Mathcad has no implicit functions. If a variable is to depend dynamically on the (unkown) value of some other variable, you must use explicit functional notation.

If you are calculating �.x, �.y and �.xy surely you have been given the pressure. If the pressure is unknown, are you calculating the pressure based on yield?
