Unable to type a string into a variable definition

Hi there

Can anyone help with the above problem? It appears either a setting has been toggled off or the shortcut keys have been altered.

Either way, I am now unable to type a " to type any string into any of my Mathcad worksheets

Any advice welcome.

Thanks

What version of Mathcad are you using and can you provide an example worksheet?

Mike

Thanks for your quick reply Mike.

I am using version 15. I have attached a blank copy of the offending sheet.

Thanks

Thanks again Mike.

I have Mathcad open twice, i.e. in two different instances and not just two different windows. It appears that the problem only affects the worksheet in the second instance of Mathcad. I still can't type a quotation mark in the second instance.

Thanks for your help anyway, I will open the worksheet with my working instance of Mathcad!

I have just replicated your method and defined a string without a problem in both worksheets.

What version of M15 are you running?

And how many licenses of Mathcad you use (in a license file in "Summary Table" there is a field "Qty" ("Quantity"))?
