Variable definition and tolerance display?

Hi Frieds,

I want to define two variables A and B:

A=485.193(h6) mm , where "h6" is the tolerance and "mm" is the units

B=420.000(+0.15/-0.10) mm , where "+0.15/-0.10" is the upper and lower tolerance, and "mm" is the units.

Is there anyone knows how to define variable A and B to make them display as following:

Best regards.

Jeffery

The only way I can think of doing it is like below.

Another (imperfect!) possibility attached.

Nice Norm, I like your +/- mod

Mike

Unfortunately, I cannot take credit for it. From the old collab, Stuart Bruff if I recall correctly.

The great Stuart. The amount of worksheets I have which have been created by his is unbelievable. Shame we don't see much of him anymore.

Nice example Alan. The issue I see is that you now have strings, which would be ok if no further analysis is required.
