Why my root locus like this?

Hi,

I try to use mathcad to draw a root locus,so I find an example to study, but when i use the transfer function in the example to draw my root locus,it is like this

RootLocus.bmp

it is totally wrong, the right picture in the example is this

未命名.bmp

Please help me to find the reason,Thank you very much

The correct picture is too small in size.

rootlocus2.bmprootlocus1.bmp

sorry, the correct picture in big size is here.

my problem is that the red root dots come form the left, and the green dots from the right, they meet in the middle, then the two lines should separate and each expand in the opposite side.

but my root locus, the two lines (the red one and the green one)just mix together

Some of the problem is graph formatting.

thank you very much!

but i am still confused by a problem, why one root,s locus can distributed on both side of the real axis,

you can see the green line in the pic.1,it is one root‘s locus,i think it should be only distributed under the real axis, just like in the pic.2

but i don't know why it is mixed with it antithesis root'slocus。

Beats me! This isn't an area I know, I'm just straightening out Mathcad.

I think I did find your zero. Name is the same, file is different!

Thank you very much, you are so nice.
