Why do you put rectangular in your equation?

Its a quick way to show the result separated in real and imaginary part. Try it without and see yourself.

BTW, Werner is a male first name 😉

Guess you are wrong here as this is a Mathcad forum - not Matlab.

If it was a typo and you meant Mathcad, please post your worksheet.

Sorry sir, I meant MATCAD! Would be great if you could answer the above question

Thanks

You need to give more information on what you want.

Do you just what to introduce the s=j*w in the equation? or you need to solve the equation and substitute that, or...

As Werner suggested, it would make a difference to upload your mathcad sheet.

OK, so please post your worksheet. You can do this by chosing "Use advanced editor" at the upper right.

Its not fully clear to me either what the expression should be you want to use.

Look if this would help:

Dear Werner Exinger/Sir/Madam

Thank you for your quick response. I believe you have done exactly what I wanted to do. Question: Why do you put rectangular in your equation?

Thanks

You are welcome!

Still don't know which version of Mathcad/Prime you use and in which way you would have to use the result. Maybe the following could be of help, too:
