Just wondering if anyone knows of any ADVANCED Mechanica training orNot to name drop or anything, but we use Randy Speed from Speed Consulting for some personalized training. It's one thing to learn from a great book and another to learn from someone who can show you how to work with your actual parts and cover things you did not know to ask or look up.
maybe books? I'm looking to get better at handling "unique" situations;
including but certainly NOT limited to: fasteners... contacts...
welds... rigids... better results handling... shells... masses...
springs... vibrations... modal... optimization... I can pretty
much handle 90% of what I need to, it's just that 10% that I would like
to get better at. Or at least be able to identify HOW you would handle
some of these. It's the old case of not know ALL the functionality
that's available, hence the relatively long list above.
thanks in advance... please reply to the list to maintain the thread...
