Did you know that you can now get certified in Windchill and ThingWorx Kepware? These Fundamental Certifications are now available on the PTC University website, where you can prove your product expertise to stand out amongst your industry peers. Each exam is 90 minutes long, and can be taken regardless of if you've taken any PTCU training courses (though we definitely recommend that you do!).
Have you gotten certified yet? Let us know in the comments which Certifications you've taken and what you thought!
Ouch, those are expensive! (More than double what Solidworks charges for their exams.) Does the fee have to be paid each time the test is taken, or is it a one time charge regardless of how many times it takes to pass?
Hi @TomU , that's a great question! Once a user feels confident enough to take the exam, they have two attempts to pass with a score of 80% or above.
And how would one gauge their confidence level, especially if they haven't also gone through all of the other courses? Is there a sample test somewhere? A list of study questions? Think of someone who's been running Creo for 15 or 20 years. They're not likely to pay to go back through all of these courses before attempting the certification test.
