PTC University Expert Model Analysis 2.4 was released on December 15, 2015.
This is a small release that allows PTC University to enable, disable or limit features in XMA Desktop via the license file allocated to customers. With this ability, we'll be introducing a new lower cost variant of XMA Desktop in the next few weeks.
What’s new in XMA 2.4:
- Existing XMA Desktop licenses issued prior to the 2.4 release will work as they did in XMA 2.3; enabling all features available at the time of XMA 2.4.
- New XMA customers may purchase a lower cost license with some features disabled and/or a limit on the number of files that may be scanned per scan.
- Users can query the XMA Desktop features they are licensed to use by looking at the feature configuration information in the About PTC University XMA Desktop dialog. This can be accessed by selecting Help > About PTC University XMA.
