Release Notes: PTC University Precision LMS 7.0

PTC University Precision LMS 7.0 was released on February 21, 2015.

This release includes enhancements to digital class guides, PTC University Precision LMS Course Designer, and a new local install of PTC University Precision LMS.

What’s new in PTC University Precision LMS 7.0:

1. Digital Class Guides

   • New users enter a confirmation email when you login to Precision LMS for an instructor-led class to ensure the account is created correctly
   • You can add notes to your class guide at the module level
   • A timeout issue is fixed

2. PTC Learning Connector

   • New PTC Technical Support Knowledge Base links
   • The recommended courses are now filtered to only the ones you have access to

3. Course Designer

   • You can add and remove code examples to ThingWorx topics. Code examples can be either inline or block and are styled as fixed-width font
   • New customizable curricula:
     • PTC Creo 3.0
     • ThingWorx
     • PTC Service Parts Pricing
     • PTC Field Service Management

4. New Local Install version of PTC University Precision LMS

5. General Enhancements

   • Improved performance of the User Access Report
   • Many bug fixes
