Dear frank siano, As i understand,you want to create a solid model from skeleton.for this you have to use External Copy geometry.by this,you can copy from one part to another. first make a new part.than go to Insert menu - share data - copy geometry from other model - select skeleton part - select default -select surface ref/curve ref/edge ref - select desired geometry from skeleton model - ok Ashish Singh Hitech e soft
