Wf3.0 vs. Wf2.0 Pro/mfg differences

We are on 2.0. I don't know how long until the company upgrades to 3.0. There are 3.0 classes for a new machinist we have hired. Is there a substantial difference in the user interface that would make it difficult for him to "adapt" to the 2.0 world after his training? Thanks for the input.

Larry, There are no radical differences between WF3/WF2 in the manufacturing module. Regards

One major difference is the mirror sequence in manufacturing utility. In 3.0 it works and it also allows the cut to be in the same direction( climb milling). Basically cutting programming time in half for a trajectory.

Hi, Raymond, Peter Question: Do you have the same issue like me? When I do NC Sequence for face down the work piece and I set the tool on entry to leading edge and on exit to center it does not work correctly the tool goes to the heel. Do you know why? Or it is an internal issue with the software? Thanks, Mike[/b]
